Git Cloning Error: gnutls_handshake()

If you need to clone a repository from the github and getting the following annoying error then the trick is to change the https protocole to http:

error: gnutls_handshake() failed: A TLS warning alert has been received. while accessing https:
fatal: HTTP request failed

so just do:

How do we interpret things around ourselves!

I have occasionally seen  the following short story in persian literature but to be honest I have been too lazy to find out its origin.
It somehow reflects how we do interpret things around ourselves.  Different people may interpret it differently, though.

"A bird  was flying north, but the weather was too cold so that it froze and fell in a field. A cow came and dropped some dung on him. It lay there worm and happy, began  to sing for joy. A passing fox discovered the bird, dug it out and ate him.
So not  everyone who shits on you is your enemy. More importantly, not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend, and that when you are in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut."

Isn't that somehow the  story of our country over the  past century. A dictator shitted on it,  that was worm enough to make  it singing. Then it was discovered by  Mullahs and is eaten by the islamic dictatorship.

Google Summer Code

I have found Google Summer of Code a very interesting scheme. It helps students to make some money, get involved with a variety of very interesting projects, improve their scripting skills, improve their CVs and many more things that one can really enjoy.

what a pity that I did not know anything about that when I was a student!

The Royal Wedding; Prince William & Catherine Middleton: Excited?

As we are getting closer to Friday 29 April 2011 many people around the world and  in the United Kingdom, in particular, are being more excited and looking forward to it.
Are you excited too?  Have  you ever wished to get a royal wedding invitation?
If so, why is that for? Every day there are thousands of weddings around  the globe: some   of these pairs are more popular than Kate and William and  some of these wedding ceremonies are more luxury than the british royal wedding.

It seems to me that this royal wedding is of particular interest because:
  • Without any doubt, Princess Diana was very popular in Britain and even around the world. She was a kind of  person that Britain  must be proud of. Now her loss has made big a gap in Britain’s culture and therefore people even un-intentionally are looking for someone to be able to fill in this gap. If this is the case, can Kate really be able to do so? She is going to have a very difficult life as member of royal family.
  • Many people in Britain are very sad from  secret-full death of Princess Diana and disappointed from the procedure of  revealing  the secrets behind that tragedy. They want some thing to help them to forget about that. These people are hoping that if William lost a fantastic  mum, he is getting a Diana-like wife. So that is very cool.
  • There were and still are many people unhappy with the marriage of Prince Charles and Camilla. We all could see this from the amount of debate in the media at the time. The royal wedding now  is a good time for these people to send a message to Camilla and say that she married to a member of royal family but she is never going to be a royal member. They want say that the person in their hearts is Diana and Kate but not Camilla.

Iran: A New Wave of Protest Against Islamic Dictatorship

About 18 months after Iranian  controversial election in which  Ahmadinejad was "selected" as president, Iranian people are again in streets but  not asking abut their stolen votes though. What they want this time is freedom, democracy and getting rid of Islamic Dictatorship.

There are many things that make situations for Iranian protesters more difficult than any of the recently succeed demonstrations for example Egypt. In the following, I will list a few of them.
  1. Unlike to Egypt, Iranian government has no commitment to western countries and therefor there is  almost no pressure of these countries and even United Nation on Iranian government from not taking  violence  about protesters and demonstrators.
  2. Iranian Revolution Guard is more experienced and dangerous than the anti-protest army of any of these countries.
  3. The most influential media such as BBC, CNN, Algazeera etc  are not permitted any activity in Iran. And even there is a unbelievable  amount of restriction for Iranian journalist on reflecting about these events.
  4. That is not yet more than a generation when  Iran had a revolution that followed by an eight-years long war with Iraq. There are many families that  lost one or even more of their beloved ones either in revolution or in War. They basically don't want to have such a terrible experience again and therefore preventing their young members - in any way - from demonstrating.
But can Iranian people achieve any success?
